I have been busy in art school so that I can understand color theory and lay out better. I am working on a new project over the Christmas Holidays because I have 6 weeks off from school and need to get back to my hooking!
HI - thanks for the chance to win some yummy wool!!
I can always use MORE wool to feed my habit!
My friend says that I am the HTB girl and she is the well, you know the other wool supplier. Due to our color choices. Mine tend to spark and announce themselves. Currently working on Joanne Gerwig Ramshead Floral with lots of HTB wools, old and new. Loving it. It is joyful and beautiful. Thanks for your creative and gorgeous wools.
I love your wool!
I would love to win wool! Thanks for giving me a chance to win & thanks for being so generous. Wish me luck! :)
I'm sure a lot of our time will be preparing for Santa to come... my 8 yr old wouldn't have it any other way!
Please enter me in your drawing for wool. I did not know about the first two give-aways :(
I have been working on the same rug since March (though I have gotten a few small punch needle, cross stitch and hooked pieces done). I am just the world's slowest hooker even thought I am hooking in a 9.5.
Pug hugs :)
Lauren
I'm finishing up my primitive Golden Pony rug and working on some new winter mats for gifts. I never have enough time to hook!
I'm currently working on a Christmas nativity rug, designed by a friend of mine. I doubt that I will have it finished in time to decorate with this Christmas, but there's just something soothing about working on it...it's helping me to keep things in perspective, and to help to prepare me mentally and spiritually for the Advent and Christmas seasons.
I'm working on a penny rug using some of your gorgeous wools! I sure could use some more though!!
Since I was not the winner for weeks one or two, I am sure that I will win in week three! How's that for a positive attitude!
Thanks for the great opportunity!

Ever notice how subtle the "b" is in the word subtle?
If you don't succeed the first time, try and try again.
Thank you.
I am working on one of kind wool purses so enjoy seeing all the choices that are out there now for wool and wool applique.
Wow Betsy, how generous of you. Somehow I missed week 1 and 2 but then last week I was at a Woolley Fox class with friends. It was a wonderful time shared with the very talented Barb Carroll and friends.
And as Shari said, "I sure can use more wool"; never enough wool.
Saundra
I'm looking forward to the Christmas break so that I can actually start hooking again. I'm still working on the rug I got as a gift last Christmas.
OH HOW I LOVE BETSYS WOOL!!!!!!! CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!
My son runs a boy's orphanage in the Philippines and he and his fiance will be coming home next week. So needless to say, I won't get much hooking done but there will be plenty of hooking weather come January!! Thank you so much for all of the fun giveaways.
I am busy with christmas projects and swaps, and love working with wool. I am having a giveaway too, this week.
Debbie
I am trying to be good so I'm concentrating on completing the rugs I already have in progress, beginning with my first rug started, believe it or not, in 2003!
Love your wool. Draw my name so I can add to my stash.
Carolyn
Since no one's mentioned a favorite old movie or actor...I will. If you've never seen Burt Lancaster in The Rainmaker, you're missing out. Hubba hubba...
Also check him out in From Here to Eternity and Elmer Gantry.
I just finished a rug that used only short scraps. Very nice look and all from throwaways. Connie
Lucky winners! Beautiful wool! I never win anything, so no one needs to fear my entering! Linda Steele
getting my wool ready to take a 3 month trip. Have to really think ahead and plan. But I am hoping I can find a rug hooking store close by or at least a new group to hook with.
I am currently have a few projects started, a hooked cat rug, wool poinsettia flowers to name a couple. I would love to win a wool stash! Thank you for the opportunity and your generosity :)
Hello, your wool is great. Lucie
I am working on a 3 dimensional Santa Claus using, of course, Heavens to Betsy wool. I know I will have to make at least two more of them (for my daughters) and perhaps one for my 21 yr. old granddaughter!!!
There have been very few random thoughts submitted so I thought I would enter this one: "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...it's about learning to dance in the rain." Whether I win or not, I've had fun with this great contest.
Thanks Betsy and Erica.
Wool, more wool please! Thanks for your fun drawing and great wools and ideas!
I went to a rug camp this past week in Independence, MO and there were many comments by the participants raving about "Heavens To Betsy" wool!!! I couldn't agree more. They (and I) love the feel of your wool if that makes sense :) Keep up the great work. So glad the cold hooking weather is upon us - Makes is even more fun (if that is possible). Have a great winter.
Received my order today...such lovely wool...didn't realize how much I needed a wool fix!!! Love the cloth reuseable bag with your logo stamped on the front. It will be perfect to carry wool to classes and hook-ins. Thank you so much. Will be ordering more soon..gotta figure out how much I need of what.
Hope to make a wool quilt for Sam's b-day the day after Christmas. My favorite movie is
The African Queen...love anything with Hepburn.
Erica, try taking cording and sewing wool(wrong side out) around it. Trim it close. Turn it right side out. Sew loops into the seam of the coat, which was lovely by the way. Questions? Give me a call.
Blessings, Linda Lindsey

I hook every week with my friends, but I accomplish more in my recliner in front of the TV. I go through withdrawal if I don't hook every day.
This morning my fat little hands will be in the dye pot. By afternoon I'll be back to hooking on my 'scrap' rug. Life is good. Hugs, Sher
Your wool is terrific and the chance to win some is even more terrific. Thank you for bringing us these great wools to continue our passion.
Hi My Name is Sherry and I'm a Woolaholic.

Wool, wool, gotta have more wool!! It is an addiction, I know, but what a fun addiction! You never know when you need just the right wool to finish a project.
I am currently working on Laurie Lausen "Partridge in a Pear tree". My goal is to finish before the holidays.
I am new to rug hooking so my "stash" is rather small. This is a great opportunity to make it a little bigger. Thanks for the chance to win.
Thanks for having a wool giveaway! Hope you give it to me!!
Just heard about this generous give=away, would be thrilled to be entered, you know I love your wool, so will keep hooking and hope I am lucky.
I started hooking in 2008. after doing a couple of purchased patterns, I decided to design my own rug. I created a pattern of my grandmothers home nestled in the woods. It is a big rug, about 3'X4'(That's big for me!), and I use it as a wall hanging. I submitted it to our state fair, and I won the Blue Ribbon! My grandma has been gone for many years, but from drawing the pattern to finishing the edging, it was a labor of love. I thought of her the whole time I worked on it. I'm so very proud of the rug, and grateful to her for all the love she gave me.
Just finished a fabulous workshop w/ Cynthia Norwood. Used lots of Heavens to Betsey wool.
I LOVE WOOL! Please enter me in your lovely giveaway! I'm having a giveaway myself, so please feel free to stop by :)
Blessings, Patti
Random thought...
I use to think child proof caps were a good idea 'till I couldn't open a bottle of Tylenol.
I'm working like crazy on Christmas Ornaments. My tree has mostly hand-made ornaments, and I haven't made any new ones in quite a few years. I just wish I had started a couple of months earlier!

I have so many projects going right now, but that's how I like it. I am weaving a guitar strap for my Dad on one loom and a scarf for my Mom on another. These are both birthday gifts. I am also hooking a peace sign pillow case for a Christmas gift. I have two knitting projects in on the needles and need to sneak in another charity knitting project soon. I didn't even mention the spinning... :)
I just learned about your giveaway so expect to see my free wool arriving at my front door soon. Donna

My wool arrived today and I am so thrilled! The wool is wonderful and so much of it and a bag to boot! I can't tell you how happy I am to have won the second drawing. I am so appreciative of Heavens to Betsy for doing this! It is great! Thanks so much!
I started a rug a few years ago based on one of my sister's watercolors. It's big (2x3ish) and about a third done. I drew her name for Christmas this year and I know she won't be expecting it. Wish me luck!
This giveaway is a super idea. Hope I win!
I am currently working on a UFO from 2002! A Kim Nixon footstool called Seasons. I think I pulled out almost all of the hooked part from then, AMAZING how differently I hook now!
Yesterday I overdyed several HTB pieces for the Pine tree section.
Thank You THANK YOU for being so generous with these giveaways!
My new little hooker group would certainly love to have some of this for their new stasshes!
What a great idea this is!! I am currently walking wide-circles around a pattern that has tiny details and some fine-cut shading requirements......and to think I drew the darn pattern myself. Self-inflicted angst!!

I have finally figured out how to post a comment. Yippee!
When I started hooking wool rugs I was always on the hunt to used wool I bought at garage sales, church shops and other second hand shop. Then I would bring home and throw in washer and then cut the clothing up and try and get the backing off, some will come off and some will not. So when I ordered new wool from Heavens to Betsy what a delite. Nice clean neat strips of wool. I'm in heaven with new wool. Sherry Bedwell
I've got a few hooking projects I want to get back to...but life keeps getting in the way!!
Thank you H to B,for the great giveaway~
Oh exciting... the chance to win wool. Hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.
This is so generous of you to offer this giveaway. Love your wool.
I love Betsy's wool - it is just wonderful! I am working on a rug that will be a gift for a friend.
She has 2 children and married a man with 4 children so am making her a rug with all of their hand prints and names on it. Have just started to do a little bit of designing in the last year and I really have enjoyed it.
Oh my my, this is exciting. I never win anything. I am praying for the chance. Thank you kind sister hooker for the chance. Be well my friend and I shall keep my fingers crossed.
There's always room in my closet for more wool.
I've been sick all week. Some new wool would make me feel much better.
Pretty please...

Have always enjoyed getting the wool from you!!!! Love the colors and the way it all hooks up..
I will be off work for 10 days over the holidays. I plan to try some dyeing techniques I found in Rug Hooking magazine by Wanda Kerr.
Wish me luck!

Ribbon Candy looks like such a beautiful wool. Maybe I should add that to my Wish List...
