I have a little brass angel holding a bell from my son's, now 36, first Christmas, it has his name engraved on it. We always hung it on a bottom branch and our kitty would bat at it and ring it every time he walked past. I've had several kitties since then and I still hang that little ornie there at the bottom for each one of our kitties over the years to ring. You know what they say about 'every time you hear a bell ring'. Lots of angels have gotten there wings over the last 36 years because of that little angel and it's bell.

Oh, it would be so wonderful to win some wool. I've wanted to work with wool for a couple of years and now have found a new friend who also wants to learn how to work with wool so I would share my wool with her!

The rug I'm working on is of a 'running horse' with scrappy background....Most of the wool came from Heaven to Betsy! Have a great Thanksgiving. Sher

Happy Thanksgiving! Put my name in the running for the wool. Thanks.

I would love to understand how you design new wools. It is always a treat to take the plaids and textures and hook them to see how they hook up. Some plaids make the best backgrounds without any overdyeing. Have a great thanksgiving and thanks for the opportunity to win some beautiful wool.

I love each and every piece of Heaven's to Betsy wool. I have loved hooking with every bit of it. One cannot have too much of this wool- that is for sure. I hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving - I know that I have so much that I am grateful for.

As a new hooker, my fondest wish is to be able to hook what I see in my mind! Beautiful wool is such a great inspiration; love to see the new plaids! Happy Turkey Day!

Just finished a colorful rug for my bro's Christmas gift. It says "Go Fish"-- and has a colorful fish and hit or miss scales around it. Quite pleased with it and hope it reminds him to take time to fish in this busy life.

I love wool! I spin, knit, and, of course...rug hook. Getting new colors of wool is better than getting jewelry! Happy Thanksgiving!

My favorite: it's always a treat to receive the packet of your sample wools. The suggested uses are so helpful that, of course, I want to have some of each! Now that winter is here, the garden is tucked away & I can indulge my passion for rug hooking. (And maybe get some of these projects finished.) Happy Hooking! Nancy

I just found your website/blog from an advertisement in A Simple Life magazine. I was looking through your kits and patterns section. Do the prices include just the pattern or does it include the wool as well, for the kit?

Does anyone else feel intimidated to do the color planning of a new rug? I can plan and think about colors that seem like they will work, then I start to hook, and end up having to pull some out, to switch to a different scheme. Once I've 'got it right' I can't imagine what I was thinking with the original colors!

Wool, Oh how I LOVE the feel and the color of wool!!!
I am working on my first large rug and I have been hooking for about 20 years!! This rug is 30 X 60 and
has been a pleasure to work on but it takes LOTS of
wool so if I won this contest.....WOW would that be a
huge help!!!
I have ordered wool from Heavens to Betsy before and know what great quality it is!!!
Good luck to everyone and thanks for the contest!!!!
Blessings,
Sarah
